This policy explains what personal data AoniTem Adventures collects when you use aonitem-adventures.com or get in touch with us, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We keep it short and specific: we only collect what we need to answer you and to arrange your journey.
AoniTem Adventures is the controller of the personal data described in this policy.
Our contact form asks for your name, email address and your message. The Plan Your Journey form asks for more, because it is the start of an itinerary: first and last name, email address, phone number, and the details of the trip you have in mind — destination, type of experience, travel dates, group size, indicative budget and any message.
Every submission also records which form it came from, which page you were on, that page’s address and your browser language, so that we can reply in your own language and understand what you were reading.
Why: to answer you and to prepare a proposal. Legal basis: your request, and steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
We record your email address only.
Why: to send occasional updates about our journeys. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time using the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or by emailing us.
To arrange a trip we will need more than an enquiry requires — for example the full names of everyone travelling, dates of birth, passport details, dietary requirements, relevant medical or fitness information, skiing ability, and emergency contacts. Some of this is sensitive. We only ask for it when it is genuinely needed to make a booking safe and correct, we tell you why at the time, and we do not use it for anything else.
Legal basis: performance of our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)), and, for health or dietary information, your explicit consent (Art. 9(2)(a)).

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for anyone else’s marketing.
Our destination management company. The journeys we sell in Argentina are organised on the ground by a local destination management company. Once you ask us to book, we pass them what they need to run your trip — the names of everyone travelling, dates, and any requirements relevant to your safety and comfort on the mountain.
Other travel partners. The same applies to the suppliers who deliver individual parts of a journey: lodges and hotels, helicopter and snowcat operators, mountain guides, ski schools, transfer companies and airlines. We share only what that particular partner needs, and only once you have asked us to book.

Authorities, where the law requires it.
When you first arrive, a banner asks for your choice. Nothing but the strictly necessary cookie that remembers that choice is set until you accept. Our analytics run in Google Consent Mode, which means that before you consent they receive only an anonymous, cookieless signal.
If you accept, we use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages people read and how they found us. We do not use advertising or remarketing cookies.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the link in our footer.
Some parts of the site load from other servers, which means those servers receive your IP address: Google Fonts, the embedded Google Maps on experience pages, and the content delivery networks that serve our stylesheet and spam protection.
The WhatsApp button opens a conversation with us in WhatsApp. We receive your message and the phone number you send it from. What WhatsApp itself does with that conversation is governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, not ours.
We sell internationally, to travellers inside and outside the European Union. Whoever you are and wherever you book from, we apply the standard set out in this policy.
Our suppliers and partners sit in the European Economic Area, Switzerland and Argentina. The European Commission has decided that both Switzerland and Argentina offer an adequate level of data protection, so transfers there need no further safeguard. Where a provider processes data in the United States, that transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses.
Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or hand it to another provider. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting what we did before you did so.
Write to info@aonitem-adventures.com and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, or to the authority where you live.
The site is served over HTTPS. Our forms are protected against automated abuse, and access to enquiries and bookings is limited to the two of us. No system is perfectly secure, but we take sensible care of what you give us.
This website is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. We do process the details of children travelling as part of a family booking, provided by the adult making that booking.
If we change how we handle your data we will update this page and the date at the top. Material changes will be brought to your attention.
