The Experience
This journey highlights the contrast between Switzerland's two most iconic landscapes. You begin in the sun-drenched Engadine Valley where St. Moritz sits — wide frozen lakes, larch forests, and grandiose historic hotels. The skiing here reflects this scale: open, elegant, and bathed in unique high-valley light.
The transition is a deliberate moment of rest. Aboard the Glacier Express, you trade the slopes for a multi-course lunch and wine, watching the terrain shift from the broad Engadine into the dramatic steep-walled peaks of the Valais.
The journey concludes in the intimate car-free village of Zermatt. Throughout the ten days, we manage all technical logistics and weather windows, ensuring the transition between these two worlds is entirely frictionless.
Sample Itinerary
A suggested ten-day programme connecting St. Moritz and Zermatt.
Day 1: Engadine Arrival
Private transfer from the airport or Samedan airfield. Afternoon orientation and a first look at the frozen lakes of St. Moritz.
Days 2–5: St. Moritz
Four days of resort skiing across the Corviglia and Corvatsch domains. Open, elegant terrain bathed in Engadine light. Afternoon tea service in the hotel.
Day 6: The Glacier Express
Board the Glacier Express in St. Moritz for the panoramic traverse of the Swiss Alps. Multi-course lunch and wine served at your seat. Afternoon arrival in Zermatt.
Days 7–10: Zermatt
Four days skiing the international Zermatt–Cervinia domain. The cosy, dense village life contrasts with the resort's massive mountain scale under the Matterhorn.
